Jonny Evans has said that he enjoyed being back in action during Northern Ireland's 2-1 Euro 2016 qualifying victory over Finland.
Evans is currently serving a six-match suspension for spitting at Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse, but is still able to play international football.
"It was great to be out there and especially to get the win," Evens is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We ground out the result and Kyle [Lafferty] scored two great goals.
"Finland played some nice football and really made us work hard defensively. We knew we would cause them danger on crosses and counter-attacks and that's the way the game panned out.
"It puts us in a really good position going into June, we play Romania here and it'll be a top-of-the-group clash."
Kyle Lafferty scored both goals in the victory which cemented Northern Ireland's position in second in Group F.
