Northern Ireland coach Michael O'Neill has included midfielder Sammy Clingan in his 23-man squad for their 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Russia and Luxembourg.
Clingan, who is without a club at the moment after leaving Coventry City in the summer, was left out of the original squad.
However, the 28-year-old has been drafted into the team following the withdrawal of winger Paddy McCourt from both matches with a groin problem.
Martin Paterson and Shane Ferguson both will miss Northern Ireland's clash with Russia in Moscow on Friday with hamstring and groin injuries respectively.
Paterson and Ferguson will face fitness tests ahead of their team's encounter against Luxembourg at home next Tuesday.
