Nikolay Bodurov scored on the stroke of half time to ensure Bulgaria headed in level at 1-1 with Norway in their Euro 2016 qualifying clash.
A bright start from Norway was almost rewarded in just the second minute, but Havard Nordtveit was left frustrated as his speculative effort from 25 yards flew just over the crossbar.
However, they wouldn't have to wait for much longer for their opening goal thanks to Tarik Elyounoussi, who found space inside the box to fire home from Per Ciljan Skjelbred's cross.
Martin Linnes should have doubled his side's lead when a loose ball reached him inside the box, but his low strike was well saved by Nikolay Mihaylov.
Bulgaria struggled in attacking areas of the pitch until levelling the scores against the run of play two minutes before the break, when Bodurov headed home an inviting cross from Georgi Iliev.
