Norwich City boss Neil Adams has claimed that his side deserved to beat Derby County following their 2-2 draw at Pride Park in the Championship.
The Canaries earned a share of the spoils on Saturday as a late goal from Steven Whittaker saw them deny Derby the points.
However, Adams believes that Norwich did enough to pick up what would have been a third consecutive victory in the league.
"We thoroughly deserved the equaliser we got and I thought we deserved to win, to be honest," he told BBC Sport. "Our plan nearly worked to perfection. They couldn't get into any rhythm. I watched them against Chelsea the other night and they got into rhythm many times that night - against a top, top team. So that tells you how well we did."
Norwich are back in action on Boxing Day when they welcome Millwall to Carrow Road in the league.
