Gary Hooper has admitted that he is pleased to have opened his account for Norwich City.
The recent signing from Scottish champions Celtic broke his duck during yesterday's 2-2 draw with Braga in Portugal, scoring in the 14th and 28th minutes.
"I thought it was a good game. Me and Wes [Hoolahan] started up top and I thought the first half was really good and I scored the two goals," he told the club's official website.
"It is always nice to get your first goal, it was a great touch from Benno (Elliott Bennett), even though I nearly missed the goal, it went it and then I went on to get my second."
Next up for the Canaries is a friendly clash against Spanish outfit Real Sociedad on Tuesday evening at Carrow Road.
