Norwich City boss Alex Neil has insisted that he has not given "any thought" to a possible Championship playoff semi-final against arch-rivals Ipswich Town.
As it stands with Norwich fourth and Ipswich fifth in the table, the bitter enemies will face each other unless their positions change on the final day of the season this coming Saturday.
Despite the prospect of a showdown against the Tractor Boys, Neil is only focusing on the Canaries' last game of the campaign against Fulham.
"I haven't given Ipswich any thought," he told the Eastern Daily Press. "Obviously I have run through the various scenarios if we were to go the playoffs.
"That is where my focus will be after the Fulham game, if it's where we end up. I will always back the character of my players because on our day we are as good as anybody in this league.
"We want to beat Fulham at home and then take that momentum into the playoffs."
Norwich have had the better of Ipswich in their recent meetings, winning the last four East Anglian derbies by an aggregate scoreline of 12-2.
