Norwich City manager Neil Adams has attempted to distance himself from any interest in Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.
Rhodes has been linked with a move to Carrow Road, but despite admitting his admiration for the Scottish international, Adams has insisted that he has not made an offer for his signature.
The 48-year-old told the Pink Un: "I've seen all the rumours. I think that they've put two and two together and come up with 25. Obviously Joe Royle had him as a young player, and I played with his dad Andy Rhodes. That's where the links are.
"We've made no offer for Jordan Rhodes. He is a fantastic player, don't get me wrong. Scores goals for fun, guarantees goals, but there's been no offer."
Adams has already strengthened his forward line with the signing of Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban.
