Norwich City manager Chris Hughton is ready to raid his former club for defender Curtis Davies, according to reports.
The new Canaries boss is also believed to be considering the possibility of offering striker James Vaughan as bait to land his man.
Davies was an ever-present during Hughton's time at St Andrews, which came to an end when he succeeded Paul Lambert in the Carrow Road hotseat.
Whereas Vaughan's injury problems followed him to East Anglia, letting him make only six appearance after his £2m move from Everton last summer.
The Blues are said to value Davies at around £4m.
