Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has reportedly made Lazio defender Michael Ciani his main transfer target ahead of Friday night's deadline.
Hughton has made it known that he is keen to bolster his defensive ranks and had recently been linked with a move for Blackburn Rovers centre-back Scott Dann.
However, Hughton is hopeful that he can tempt 29-year-old Ciani to Carrow Road, according to The Mirror.
Ciani has made 13 appearances in Serie A this season, scoring one goal in the process.
