League One side Swindon Town have re-signed former player Louis Thompson on loan from Norwich City.

The 20-year-old joined Norwich from Swindon last summer and was then loaned back to the Robins for the entirety of last season.

Thompson went on to be key to Swindon's top-six finish, making 38 appearances in all competitions before his season was cut short in February due to a shoulder injury.

He returned to Norwich this summer, and Canaries boss Alex Neil has decided to send him back to League One as he is still yet to make his first senior appearance in yellow and green.

Thompson's new loan runs until December 18 and he could make his debut against Barnsley tomorrow.
