Leeds United have rejected an undisclosed bid from Norwich City for captain Robert Snodgrass.
The Canaries made their move for the midfielder yesterday afternoon.
However, Leeds manager Neil Warnock has revealed that Norwich's offer fell well below the club's asking price.
"It's been made public that they have bid, but from our own point of view it's not what we're looking for," Warnock told the club's official website. "We'd like to keep Rob, and Rob knows that. Whether that will be possible we'll have to wait and see.
"It's difficult when players get their heads turned, but I'd like to keep Rob at the club and that's what I'm trying to do at the moment.
"Unless they come up with a valuation that the club thinks is satisfactory then that's what we want to do."
Despite the rejection, reports have claimed that Snodgrass is eager to link up with Norwich.
