Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen has insisted that the club's main ambition is to achieve "solid" results in the Championship this season.

The City Ground outfit have edged to 1-0 victories over Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers so far this season, and Cohen believes that they are the kind of results that make the difference at the end of the campaign.

The 26-year-old told the Nottingham Post: "The wins so far have been solid – but at the same time, there are not too many opportunities to be spectacular in the Championship.

"How many times were we spectacular last season? There were two or three games where we took teams apart. It does not happen very often.

"The main crux of your season is winning those games where you are 0-0 going into injury time and somebody steps up to smash one in the back of the net. That is the kind of thing that forms a winning team."

Forest are one of three sides to win their opening two league fixtures.
