David Pleat has left his role as part-time consultant at Nottingham Forest, the club has announced.
The 66-year-old joined the Championship side in 2006 after a managerial career which had included spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday.
"Nottingham Forest can confirm that David Pleat is to step down from his part-time role as football consultant to the club," read a statement on the club's official website.
"It follows a restructuring of backroom resources that has seen Keith Burt promoted from the role of chief scout to director of recruitment and scouting."
Forest are currently 20th in the Championship after picking up eight points from a possible 27.
