Midfielder Jake Livermore will start his first league match for Hull City since avoiding a ban for failing a drugs test.
The England international returns to the starting lineup at Nottingham Forest, and will partner his former Spurs teammate Tom Huddlestone in the middle of the park.
Defender Matt Mills has recovered from injury for the Reds, who are still without midfielders Ben Osborn, Andy Reid and Chris Cohen.
