Nottingham Forest are reportedly looking at Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson.
The 30-year-old was released by the Potters at the end of last season, but the club have handed him a week-to-week contract to help him recover from a knock and find a new club as a goodwill gesture for his 14 years of service.
Wilkinson came through the ranks at the Britannia Stadium and made 192 appearances for Stoke after making his debut in 2001.
Forest boss Dougie Freedman is thought to be looking to bolster his defensive options before the new Championship season begins and are interested in Wilkinson, according to the Nottingham Post.
Stoke loaned Wilkinson to Millwall for three months last season, where he made nine appearances.
