League Two side Notts County have been eliminated in the first round of the FA Cup after losing 2-0 to non-league side Salford City at Moor Lane.
The Northern Premier League club, which is jointly-owned by a number of ex-Manchester United players, pressed from the start, but were unable to open the scoring in the first half.
The semi-professional club broke the deadlock at the start of the second half though as James Poole rounded Thierry Audel before playing Danny Webber through for a tap-in from close range.
Salford almost doubled their lead 10 minutes later as Jordan Hulme burst into the box, beating Roy Carroll with his drive, but it hit the crossbar.
They sealed the win with just over 15 minutes remaining though as Richie Allen managed to beat three defenders before firing the ball in on the turn from 12 yards out.
