Notts County manager Chris Kiwomya has urged his players to perform to the same level as they did at Anfield in their recent 4-2 defeat in the League Cup against Rotherham United.
Kiwomya's side pulled back from 2-0 down to take the game to extra time, and the manager said that they can claim their first league win with a similar performance.
"I thought the boys were magnificent the other night," Sky Sports News quotes Kiwomya as saying. "They need to take this form into the game against Rotherham."
"We conceded early and you think it's going to be one of those nights, but the energy and creativeness they showed to come back and score two goals was great.
"We made a couple of tactical changes because Steven Gerrard was landing on the ball a lot and we were a lot better. Coombes scored that goal and I actually thought when that went in that we could go on and win it."
