Notts County midfielder Neal Bishop has insisted that he is not interested in departing the club at the end of the season.
It had been suggested that the 31-year-old would leave Meadow Lane in the summer, but he has claimed that he is "happy" at the club.
"As far as I'm concerned, I've got another year on my contract here which I signed two years ago," Bishop told the club's official website.
"I was more than happy to do that, if I played a certain amount of games this season it kicked in. Obviously the situation here is a bit up in the air with other players being out of deals and not knowing who's going to be in charge next season, although we'd all love it to be Chris [Kiwomya].
"We owe Chris a few performances to help him stake a claim for the job but my situation is that I've got a contract until next season. Unless someone tells me otherwise, that's where we are."
A number of Championship clubs are reportedly monitoring proceedings.
