Nuremberg's Japanese winger Mu Kanazaki has admitted that he has adapted to Germany faster than he had expected after joining the club at the end of January from Nagoya Grampus Eight.
Kanazaki made his debut in the 2-2 draw against Hannover and impressed after coming on in the 60th minute for Mike Frantz.
"I surprised myself how well I've adapted [to Germany]," Bild quotes Kanazaki as saying. "I honestly thought that I would have needed more time to prepare."
Kanazaki made 69 appearances for Grampus and has also been capped five times by Japan.
