The agent of Javier Saviola has claimed that the Argentine striker would like a move to the Premier League.
The 32-year-old spent last season with Olympiacos, but he has since been released by the Athens-based outfit.
Now a free agent, Saviola's representative Christian Otero has revealed that he has received approaches from England for his client's services.
"We have come to agreement over Javier's contract and he is now a free agent and available to talk to other clubs," Otero is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He has always wanted to play in Britain and that ambition remains, and we are fielding a number of enquiries from the UK."
Saviola has played for a number of clubs since he moved to Europe in 2001, including Barcelona and Real Madrid.
