Palermo coach Alberto Malesani has admitted that Saturday evening's clash with Genoa is "very important" in the battle to survive in Serie A.
Genoa are currently 17th and bottom side Palermo could move to within three points of them with a win.
"I want my team to keep their balance, but to play with more courage, especially against a team like Genoa who are difficult to deal with," Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Malesani as saying.
"Andrea Dossena is not 100% for this game I need my top players. To win it will takes tactical flexibility and a lot of intensity. It will not necessarily decide whether we stay up, but it is very important and I am confident."
Palermo are unbeaten in two games but have not won since November.
