Palermo manager Beppe Iachini has claimed that he will not sell Uruguayan forward Abel Hernandez this summer unless the Sicilian club receive a bid of €30m (£24m).
The 23-year-old, who appeared as a substitute in his country's 2-0 defeat in the second round of the World Cup against Colombia, joined the Serie A outfit from Penarol, but the South American club are said to be entitled to 45% of any future transfer fee, according to Football Italia.
However, Iachini has suggested that he is reluctant to sell the forward.
He told reporters: "Hernandez is our player, but if someone came and offered €30m then clearly we'd evaluate it. That goes for everyone.
"With this organisation, this intensity and this mentality, we can help the squad grow further.
"Over the last three weeks we have whittled down the details and I am very happy with the work we've done."
Hernandez scored 14 times last season to help Palermo back to the Italian top flight.
