Palmeiras vs. Botafogo (Sunday, 8.00pm)
The top two teams in the Brasileiro table will go head-to-head when Palmeiras host Botafogo on Sunday.
The visitors are five points clear of their forthcoming opponents at the division's summit, meaning they have an excellent opportunity to put further distance between themselves and the rest of the chasing pack.
We say: Palmeiras 2-1 Botafogo
With Palmeiras knowing they can ill-afford to allow their opponents to move eight points clear of them at the top of the table, this should be a fiercely-contested encounter between the reigning champions and the primary contenders.
While form would dictate that Botafogo should be favourites to win the match, we expect the hosts' experience, quality and home support to make the difference in the end, with a narrow victory for the hosts predicted.

Gremio vs. Coritiba (Sunday, 8.00pm)
Gremio could move up to second in the Brasileiro table by beating Coritiba at Arena de Gremio on Sunday.
The visitors, meanwhile, require all three points if they are to have a chance of moving off the foot of the table.
We say: Gremio 2-1 Coritiba
Despite there being 16 points and 17 positions between these two sides ahead of Sunday's meeting, we expect Coritiba to push the hosts hard to earn their victory.
However, Gaucho's side are on a serious roll at present, and it would be surprising if they did not get the job done in the end to maintain pressure on the top two sides.

Santos vs. Flamengo (Sunday, 10.30pm)
After suffering a shock midweek thumping, Flamengo will try to get back on track in Rio de Janeiro this Sunday, when they visit Santos in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Despite losing 4-0 last time out, Fla sit fourth in the Serie A standings; meanwhile, their hosts are perilously close to the drop zone and have just sacked their head coach.
We say: Santos 0-1 Flamengo
For all their woes, Santos have kept clean sheets in half their league fixtures at home this season. However, without their fans behind them at Vila Belmiro - and with an interim coach in charge - they are susceptible to defeat by a Flamengo side fired up after an embarrassing setback in midweek.

Bragantino vs. Goias (Sunday, 10.30pm)
Goias will continue to try and push out of the Brasileiro relegation zone on Sunday when they make the trip to face Bragantino.
The hosts currently sit 12th and head into the game on the back of three consecutive matches without a loss in all competitions.
We say: Bragantino 2-0 Goias
Bragantino will head into this match as firm favourites simply due to their league position, and with Goias currently struggling to find the back of the net it could be the hosts taking all three points.

America Mineiro vs. Internacional (Sunday, 10.30pm)
Having posted back-to-back wins over the past week, Internacional aim to make it three on the spin in the Campeonato Brasileiro when they play struggling America Mineiro on Sunday.
While America came out on top in a cup clash between the clubs earlier this month, they sit 18th in the Serie A standings while their visitors are now only two points shy of the top four.
We say: America Mineiro 1-2 Internacional
As their defensive woes show no sign of ending - and they have conceded goals at a rate of two per game on home soil - America are set to suffer another loss this weekend. Inter have gone unbeaten through their last seven matches in all competitions, so they can record a third straight win against one of Serie A's strugglers.
