Sydney FC coach Frank Farina claims that Terry Antonis wants to remain with the Australian outfit despite signing a pre-contract agreement with Parma.

Sydney FC coach Frank Farina has claimed that Terry Antonis wants to remain with the club despite reportedly signing a contract with Parma.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in his home nation, is expected to join the Italian side this summer.

However, Farina told The Telegraph: "That's still a bit of a curved one. He supposedly has signed a contract with Parma but he wants to stay now.

"Can he get out if it, or can he not? At the moment I'm not 100% sure."

As yet, there has been no official comment from Parma.
