Partick Thistle and Hearts each scored in the final five minutes as they drew 1-1 in their Scottish Premiership match at the Firhill Stadium this evening.
The late drama made up for what had previously been a very uneventful contest during which neither side could create any clear-cut opportunities or build substantial periods of pressure.
Partick's James Craigan had the best chance when the action was at a stalemate, but he dragged his shot from the edge of the box wide after bursting through the middle of the park.
The hosts thought they had snatched the three points on 85 minutes when Aaron Muirhead converted from the penalty spot, following Jamie Walker's unfair challenge on John Baird.
However, just two minutes later, Walker made amends by netting an equaliser, dribbling through two Partick challenges before firing right-footed beyond Thistle keeper Scott Fox to earn Hearts a share of the spoils.
