Mustafa Saymak struck a 93rd-minute winner to help 10-man PEC Zwolle beat Dordrecht 2-1 and move level with PSV Eindhoven at the top of the Eredivisie.
Bart van Hintum's red card handed the impetus to Dordrecht, who thought that they had done enough for at least a draw after Giovanni Korte equalised on 81 minutes.
However, Zwolle, who beat Utrecht in their curtain-raiser last week, snatched an unlikely win when Saymak pounced in the dying moments.
The visitors secured a half-time lead through Ryan Thomas, who fired them ahead on 40 minutes.
Dordrecht were given extra incentive in their bid for an equaliser when Van Hintum was given his marching orders on 80 minutes.
It took all of a minute for the hosts to capitalise on their numerical advantage through Korte, but it was not enough as Saymak produced a late winner to help Zwolle join PSV at the summit.
