Three goals in the space of eight second-half minutes fired PEC Zwolle to a 4-1 victory over NAC Breda in the Eredivisie this evening.
Bart van Hintum opened the scoring early on for the European hopefuls before second-from-bottom Breda equalised through Adnane Tighadouini.
However, their parity lasted only six minutes as the hosts notched three times after the hour mark to secure a victory which takes them third in the table.
Full-back Van Hintum popped up with his first goal of the season to give Zwolle a fifth-minute lead.
Breda, who have won only twice since beating Zwolle in August, got back on level terms 12 minutes into the second half as six-goal top scorer Tighadouini notched for the first time since October.
That only prompted Zwolle to up their game as Jesper Drost stepped up to score one and provide another for Jody Lukoki as the home side opened up a two-goal advantage within 10 minutes of conceding.
They were not done yet, though, with Ben Rienstra completing the scoring on 71 minutes to guarantee Zwolle three points which take them above Feyenoord in the standings.
