Darren Ferguson has said that Peterborough United's goalless draw with Walsall could prove to be a crucial point come the end of the season.
The home side had chances to snatch a win in the second half, but Walsall goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell denied Danny Swanson and Britt Assombalonga.
"This was a game that was always going to be won or lost by a set-piece or a mistake. It was always going to be a scrappy game and it wasn't easy for the players," Ferguson told the Peterborough Telegraph.
"But this might turn out to be a very good point come the end of the season."
Posh are sixth in the League One table.
