Platense vs. Estudiantes (Wednesday, 11.00pm)
Platense will bid to climb into the top four of the Argentine Primera Division on Wednesday, when they play host to Estudiantes.
The hosts sit eighth after eight outings but with just a one-point gap to third and fourth spots and a three-point gap to leaders Belgrano, while their visitors find themselves 12th with just six points on the board.
We say: Platense 2-1 Estudiantes
The visitors will travel with renewed confidence following their recent cup win, but Platense are in the far better form in the second phase of the Argentine Primera Division, and with home advantage we fancy them to make it back-to-back wins on Wednesday.

Independiente vs. Barracas Central (Thursday, 1.00am)
Two sides who find themselves at opposite ends of the Argentine Primera Division second-phase table will square off in the ninth round of group games on Wednesday, as Independiente welcome Barracas Central to the Estadio Libertadores de America.
With six rounds of games to go before the knockout stage, the hosts sit second in group A with 15 points, while their visitors sit down in 12th spot despite only being five points worse off.
We say: Independiente 2-0 Barracas Central
Independiente have plenty of momentum on their side having enjoyed a seven-match unbeaten streak under Carlos Tevez, and although Barracas Central head into the trip on the back of a return to winning ways, they are yet to establish any real consistency this term and we can only envisage a home victory on Thursday.
