Micky Adams has said that Port Vale's home form is key if they are to secure automatic promotion from League Two this season.
Vale topped the table earlier in the season, but just two wins in their last nine games have left them only three points inside the automatic promotion places.
The club's manager told Sky Sports News: "People expect you to win your home games, but it's never that easy. With recent results at home, perhaps some people are not as confident as they should be.
"Home form is always important and the Aldershot game is massive now, probably one of the biggest of our whole season. It's a cup final for us and we have to approach it in that manner - as we do all of the remaining seven games.
"Getting to that 70-point mark will be a big psychological boost for us. The quicker we can get there, the better. If we can do it on Saturday, that would be great."
Port Vale are five points behind league leaders Gillingham.
