Port Vale manager Micky Adams has revealed that he is delighted to complete the signing of midfielder Chris Lines.
Lines has moved to Vale Park on a one-year deal after his release from Sheffield Wednesday, and Adams believes that his experience could prove key to the Valiants next season.
The 51-year-old told The Sentinel: "Chris is a tall, strong, central midfielder who has played in the Championship in addition to League One and also experienced promotion
"That calibre of player can only be a bonus for us and I'm looking forward to him joining the group."
Lines made 53 appearances over a two-year period for Sheffield Wednesday.
