James Rodriguez has claimed that Porto were worthy winners in their Group A clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
The attacking midfielder fired in an 83rd-minute winner in Portugal to ensure his side continued their good start to the competition and admits that he felt frustrated in his attempts to break the deadlock.
Rodriguez told reporters: "It was a difficult game. In the first half we couldn't convert our chances. We did in the end and it was very important. I tried to score many times and thank God the last one went in.
"We knew they had a lot of good players, but we were far better tonight. We are very strong, but must take things step by step."
Porto face Dynamo Kiev in their next group fixture on October 24.
