A report suggests that Benfica are keen on Porto forward Christian Atsu.

Benfica have reportedly joined the race for Porto forward Christian Atsu.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Estadio do Dragao this summer, with Liverpool believed to be among those interested.

According to talkSPORT, the Ghanaian international wants to leave the Dragons, who are holding out for a fee of around £6m.

Atsu, who came through the youth ranks at Porto, scored one goal in 16 league appearances last season.

Sporting Lisbon are also reported to be monitoring the situation.
