Richie Barker has claimed that parts of Portsmouth's performance against Mansfield Town were "fantastic".
Pompey went behind when Lee Stevenson opened the scoring in the 50th minute, but Ryan Taylor's goal on his home debut secured a 1-1 draw.
"There were 15 minutes where we lost our way a little bit in the second half but I am full of praise for the way the players came back and their desire to make sure they didn't lose the game," Barker told the Portsmouth News.
"I don't think we played poorly for most of the game and for the last half an hour we were fantastic."
Pompey are 21st in League Two.
