Portsmouth have completed the signing of Ben Tollitt following a trial period.
The 20-year-old, who featured in Portsmouth's friendly against Havant & Waterlooville at the weekend, spent last season with Skelmersdale United.
"I'm made up. It's my first professional contract and I can't wait to get started. I knew that I wasn't going to get a lot of time at Havant, so the plan was to use whatever time I got to show a bit of what I could do," he told the club's official website.
"It was the biggest crowd I have ever played in front of and the support was absolutely amazing. I can't wait for the opportunity to step out in front of 17,000 people at Fratton Park."
Pompey have secured the option to extend Tollitt's one-year deal by a further 12 months.
