West Ham United defender Dan Potts has moved to Portsmouth on a one-month loan deal.
Potts has not featured for the Hammers in the Premier League this season, and the youngster has admitted that he is delighted to be given the opportunity to play first-team football at Fratton Park.
The 19-year-old told the club's official website: "I was told about Pompey's interest yesterday, so I grabbed my gear and came straight down here. Despite the division that they now find themselves in, they are still regarded as a massive club.
"The thought of playing at Fratton Park in front of the sort of crowds that come to Pompey is a really exciting prospect.
"I just want to play first-team football, so hopefully I can benefit the team and help us get some good results."
Potts has made 10 senior appearances for the Upton Park outfit.
