Portsmouth have reportedly lined up an approach for West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Luke Daniels.
The South Coast side are beginning to prepare for life in League One following their relegation from the Championship at the end of the season and manager Michael Appleton has begun outlining transfer targets with the small budget available at the financially-stricken club.
It is believed that Appleton is keen to return to his former club at the Hawthorns to tie up a loan deal for 24-year-old Daniels, according to the Daily Star.
Meanwhile, the former Premier League outfit are still searching for investment following their second fall into administration in as many years.
