Preston North End manager Simon Grayson believes that striker Paul Gallagher has an important part to play at Deepdale for the remainder of the campaign.
Gallagher's parent club Leicester City have allowed him to stay at the League One club for the rest of the season, and Grayson is pleased to retain the Scot's services.
The 44-year-old told the club's official website: "His qualities have already been evident in the games that he's played.
"He can play a big part between now and the end of the season."
Gallagher's three goals during his loan spell all came in the FA Cup match against Barnet in November.
