Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has praised his side for their response in the second half against Olympiacos on Tuesday.
The Ligue 1 champions opened their Champions League campaign with a 4-1 win in Athens thanks to goals from Edinson Cavani and Marquinhos either side of a Thiago Motta brace.
The Parisians were largely outplayed by the Greek outfit in the first half, but Blanc is pleased by the way his team changed their approach after the break.
"The first half we were a little sluggish, because we had problems with positioning on the left side," Blanc told beIN Sport.
"Olympiacos also had a lot of energy to press us and caused us problems by creating opportunities and corners. Nevertheless, we opened the scoring, but we did not hold it long enough to settle in the game.
"The second half was much better, positioning was better. I also sincerely believe that the pace of Olympiacos fell because in the first half, they were very aggressive."
PSG face Benfica in their next Group C match.
