Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder Blaise Matuidi has said that his side's good start helped to set up their 3-0 victory over Benfica in the Champions League this evening.
The French side beat the visiting Portuguese team thanks to first-half goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and 19-year-old Marquinhos.
"We wanted to build on our away win. Seven goals in two games looks good," Matuidi said after the game. "We made our task easier with a good start. Our tactics enabled us to dominate possession."
PSG return to league action this weekend as they face an away trip to Marseille on Sunday.
