Marquinhos has paid tribute to the "super" Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his hat-trick steered Paris Saint-Germain into the final of the Coupe de France tonight.
Ibrahimovic inspired Les Parisiens to a 4-1 win over Saint-Etienne to set up a final showdown with Auxerre in May.
Consequently, the Sweden international also broke the 100-goal barrier in PSG colours, and his Brazilian teammate is delighted with his contribution.
"The goal is really important for a striker and that's how [Ibrahimovic] will regain confidence," he told France 2.
"Ibra is a super player, important for the team and when he is on the field, he is always trying to help his teammates and seeks the victory. He is a champion."
Ezequiel Lavezzi scored the other goal in what proved a comfortable night for Laurent Blanc's side in the end, with Romain Hamouma cancelling out Ibrahimovic's penalty to earn a half-time draw.
