Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera allegedly had his phone and wallet stolen by a prostitute on Tuesday night.
The 32-year-old is reported to have been stopped at a traffic light while driving along the avenue de la Reine-Marguerite, with his valuables in plain view on the car's dashboard.
According to 20 Minutes, Herrera witnessed the prostitute enter his car to steal the items as he was driving before being offered the return of his phone in exchange for dropping them off at a certain location.
A member of Herrera's entourage reportedly told AFP: "There was no violence. Ander Herrera was returning from the Parc des Princes [near the Bois de Boulogne] where he participated in a workshop [...], as is the case several times during the season at the Parc.
"To get home, he went through the Bois de Boulogne, and at a traffic light, a person gets into his car and takes the phone and the wallet that were in sight.
"Ander Herrera told them 'I'll give you 200 euros but give me back my wallet and phone' and dropped the person off a little further away and rang the police. The aim of his call was to get this person arrested and to stop it happening again."
PSG have reportedly declined to comment on the incident, but Herrera - who has four goals and two assists from 14 appearances this season - is understood to have trained on Wednesday. body check tags ::
