Former England captain and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham has claimed that it would be a "dream" to play alongside Kylian Mbappe.
The former Monaco man netted PSG's third goal in their 3-1 Ligue 1 victory at Montpellier on Saturday - his 100th in PSG colours at the age of 21.
Beckham enjoyed a brief stint with the Parisiens before calling time on his career in 2013, at which point Mbappe was just 14 years of age, and the 45-year-old has claimed that he would have been honoured to line up in the same team as Mbappe.
Speaking to Telefoot, Beckham said: "I would have loved to be still a player now, because playing with a forward like Kylian would have been a dream to me. You put the ball anywhere in front of him and he gets it."
PSG's sporting director Leonardo recently confirmed that the Ligue 1 champions have entered contract talks with Mbappe, who has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool recently.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman leads the way with 10 top-flight goals this term and is tied down to Thomas Tuchel's side until the summer of 2022.
