Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has said that his side dealt with a number of situations poorly as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Rennes in Ligue 1 this afternoon.
PSG looked on course to move into top spot in the league after Zoumana Camara gave them the lead in the first half, only for Abdoulaye Doucoure to equalise early in the second period.
"We had a good first half, the second was a little trickier, but I think we badly handled certain situations, particularly our counter-attacks," Blanc told reporters after the fixture.
"I think that if we defend a little better, we win the game 1-0. Last year, when that kind of situation arose, we had room for error as we always scored an extra goal.
"When you score a goal, you have to be able to win the game 1-0, even if there's only one team that's playing."
The result leaves PSG sitting in third position in the Ligue 1 table.
