Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has insisted that the main goal is for the club to keep winning their matches following the Parisians' 2-0 victory over Bastia.
The current Ligue 1 champions were thankful for a brace from Zlatan Ibrahimovic away from home, as Blanc's men kept pace at the top of the table with the win.
"We were expecting a difficult match and it was. It's always difficult away to Bastia," said Blanc, according to the club's official website.
"I told my players they would have to be patient and play to our strengths, our technical quality, our philosophy.
"We had to keep plugging away, pass the ball better. In the end, Bastia started to tire. The main thing is to keep winning our matches because the league is a marathon."
PSG have so far amassed 26 points from 10 games in the new campaign.
