Paris Saint-Germain skipper Thiago Silva has talked up the coaching qualities of boss Laurent Blanc following the club's victory over Bastia.
The Ligue 1 title holders were able to see out a hard-fought 2-0 win away from home thanks to a late brace from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Silva has since suggested that Blanc's change in tactics helped to decide the outcome of the contest.
"It was very difficult because a lot of our players were still a bit tired from all the travelling with their national teams," said Silva, according to the club's official website.
"The pitch wasn't in very good condition which did not help us play one-touch football.
"The coach explained to us what we needed to change to win in the second half. We did it and that is why we won. The coach was very important today."
Silva's PSG side hold top spot in the league standings with 26 points from 10 games.
