Paris Saint-Germain youngster Marco Verratti has said that he is aiming to emulate Andrea Pirlo.
The 19-year-old moved to the French capital for £10m from Pescara in the summer and has gone on to impress in his first few games in Ligue 1.
Verratti, who won his first cap for Italy in the 2-1 defeat to England, revealed that playing for Les Parisiens is "a dream come true".
"It's a dream come true," Verratti told Ligue1.com. "I didn't expect to be here at the age of 19, but I'm very happy and I'll do everything to show people that I'm already good enough to play alongside great players.
"Andrea Pirlo has won everything in his career. He's a tremendous player. He's experienced so much, so I guess every player dreams of having a career like Pirlo's. I'm going to try to emulate him. I know it won't be easy but I'm going to give everything I've got."
The midfielder has started seven games for Carlo Ancelotti's side.
