Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar produced one of the worst penalty misses of his career in his side's Ligue 1 clash with Nantes on Saturday night.
Despite forming the famed front three with Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi at the Stade de la Beaujoire, Neymar was powerless to prevent PSG going 3-0 down as Randal Kolo Muani, Quentin Merlin and Ludovic Blas struck for Nantes.
Neymar needed less than two minutes to reduce the deficit to 3-1 after the break, and the 30-year-old was presented with the opportunity to truly spark the comeback after Dennis Appiah tripped Mbappe in the area.
The former Barcelona man stepped up to the spot and opted for placement rather than power, but he failed to execute the penalty with any sort of panache as his incredibly tame effort was comfortably held by Alban Lafont.
Mauricio Pochettino's side at least remained 13 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table after they succumbed to defeat against Nantes, with second-placed Marseille hosting Clermont on Sunday.
