How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Strasbourg

Sports Mole predicts how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Friday's Ligue 1 clash with Strasbourg.

Paris Saint-Germain will be missing Idrissa Gueye through suspension for Friday's Ligue 1 contest with Strasbourg.

Mauro Icardi, Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes are also definitely out of the match through injury, while the visitors are also sweating on the fitness of Abdou Diallo, who has recently been out with a groin issue.

Gueye's absence will open the door for Danilo to feature in central midfield alongside Marco Verratti, but it could otherwise be largely the same side that took to the field for the 1-1 draw with Lens last weekend, which was a result that won the capital giants the Ligue 1 title.

That said, Gianluigi Donnarumma will be hoping to come back into the side between the sticks at the expense of Keylor Navas, while Georginio Wijnaldum, Juan Bernat and Ander Herrera are also options for change in a match that will be bigger for the European-chasing hosts.

Lionel Messi was on the scoresheet against Lens last weekend, and there are unlikely to be any changes in the front three, with the Argentine again set to feature alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Messi has struggled to show his best form for PSG this season, scoring just four times in Ligue 1, but he has managed nine goals and 13 assists in 30 matches in all competitions.

Neymar appears set to remain at the club despite the recent speculation surrounding his future, but Mbappe's contract is due to expire at the end of June, with Real Madrid determined to sign the France international on a free transfer.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Marquinhos, Ramos, Kimpembe; Hakimi, Verratti, Danilo, Mendes; Messi, Mbappe, Neymar body check tags ::
