Paris Saint-Germain have beaten Lyon 4-0 in Ligue 1, with forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring two penalties either side of half time.
The home side were presented with a glorious chance in the opening minutes as Marco Verratti stole the ball in midfield and offloaded a pass to Edinson Cavani, but the striker could not make the most of it as he volleyed straight at the goalkeeper from close range.
Alexandre Lacazette almost gave the visitors a surprise lead when he crashed a shot against the post after beating two defenders.
However, PSG then made Lyon pay as Cavani grabbed a goal for his side by glancing a header in at the near post.
Ibrahimovic converted a penalty with a chip down the middle of the goal just before the break to leave his team 2-0 up at half time.
PSG took control of the game after the interval and increased their lead in the 60th minute when Thiago Silva prodded home having been found by Lucas from a corner.
With the home side 3-0 ahead, Verratti took control of the midfield and began to exhibit his passing range by continuously finding balls in behind the visitors' defence.
Laurent Blanc's men added the icing on the cake in the 83rd minute when Ibrahimovic scored his second goal of the game, tucking away another penalty to leave the final score at 4-0.
